How do I perform a configuration backup/restore/clone within the WWVDS Web Interface?

This article discusses configuration changes within the WWVDS Web Interface for backups, restoration, and cloning of system data.

See the procedures below for performing a backup or restore/clone in the web interface:

Backup of Configuration

  1. Access the WWVDS Web Interface.
  2. Navigate to Configuration —> Maintenance and click Export.
  3. Your web browser will download the configuration file, labelled as configs.zip.
    1. Configuration contains the following parameters as shown below.

Restore or Clone of Configuration

  1. Access the WWVDS Web Interface.
  2. Navigate to Configuration —> Maintenance and click Import Configuration Settings.
  3. Select the system's backup zip file.

If you need to set up another system with the same configuration, you can import the previously exported zip file.

After importing the configuration, you will need to log out and log back in for the new settings to take effect and the updated configuration to be visible.
